Carrick is a small village in the Gaeltacht area of south west Donegal in Ireland. Carrick Village is in the Parish of Glencolmcille which borders on the Parish of Kilcar. The bridge which you cross over into Carrick is the Parish borderline.

Close to Carrick is the community of Teelin (Teileann) where the Irish language and traditional music is still very much part of everyday life.
